Bo Gray

Bo and Linda were married September 29, 1962. They met exactly one year earlier at First National Bank in West End, Atlanta, on September 29, 1961, where Linda worked as a secretary.  Bo had dropped by to see his high school friend who worked as a teller.

Bo and Linda have been truly blessed. They are parents to three sons and a daughter (Gary, Tina, Ricky, and Jason) plus a fourth “unofficially adopted” son (Johnny McDaniel) who became part of their family when he was a teenager.

Gary is married to Libby; Johnny is married to Melanie; Tina is married to John; Ricky is married to Stacy; Jason is married to Marci. Their children have given them 13 terrific grandchildren: Sam, Austin, Cole, Olivia, Victoria, Jack, Abby, Brady, Connor, Ty, Michael, Sophie, and Edward.

Bo was born at home in Haralson County, Georgia.  He was “raised in the church” and baptized at age 12. Linda was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was raised Catholic. After meeting Bo, she studied with him and his family and was baptized on July 10, 1962. For the past 50 years, Bo has worked in the insurance industry.  Linda retired in 2005 from Columbia Chemicals Co.

Bo and Linda feel privileged to be part of such a caring congregation and pray that the West Metro family will always have the love, enthusiasm, and unity in truth that it now enjoys. They also pray that God will use West Metro to do great things in His kingdom.
